We will gather to move our sounds and sound our movements

This gathering is for everyone who wish to move their body and sound their voice.

You do not need any previous experience with dance or singing.

It will be a beautiful journey of sound and movement that will support you in freeing yourself from limitations and open up for new possibilities.

To me the most important focus right now is to connect ourselves with our body, emotions and voice. So we are aware of our inner state and able to express ourselves authentically.

To be able to express ourselves authentically and freely so we can create healthy relations with ourselves and others. Is at the core of our wellbeing as individuals and as a society. This gathering holds the intention of just that.

I draw inspiration from Laban, View point, Psychomotor Therapy, Living Yolates, dance theater, Vocal technics, Vocal sound healing and so much more...

I am Louise, I have been working with my own voice my whole life. As a young girl I would walk around in our garden singing and had a deep sense of having a relation with the trees as the wind seemed to rustle the tree tops every time I sang out loud. It was magical singing with nature and releasing and expressing all my emotions and creativity through song.

Though I had challenges with feeling tension and pain in my throat when I sang, which was a hugh frustration for me, so I went on a long journey to find the right way to change that.

I went to many different vocal technic trainings at different schools and privat lessons with different teachers, vocal sound healing and holistic voice therapy. All to find out that technic can only get you so far. Our voice is intrinsically connected with our whole being. Mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

A big part of my journey has also been through dancing, dance theater and performing arts. Here I somehow always felt most confident in my expression. It has supported me in breaking free from my own shyness and tendency to play small. The playful and embodied approach has a wonderful way of getting you out of your own head.

Review:

“The workshop with Louise was a transformative experience, in all possible ways, to such an extent that I have a hard time putting it into words. I had no expectations for the outcome of the workshop, but left with the feeling of having received the greatest gift. First, Louise had created a safe and inspiring space where I felt welcome the moment I walked in the door. In space, magic arose. The combination of us participants, the room and Louise who lovingly guided us through various exercises, went straight to heart, body and voice. I experienced both that my voice changed, that a blockage disappeared, but at the same time the experience went in and affected my whole body, it was as if I was being held, and told 1000 times that I am exactly as I should be, that I am allowed to be here and to say out loud what I think, feel and otherwise have in my heart. I am very grateful to have had that experience in my backpack, I will definitely be back for more.” - Ronja
